Tim Drake - Robin - Red Robin

Origin - As a very small boy, Timothy Drake was in the audience when the Flying Grayson's were murdered. A few years later while watching news footage of Batman and Robin he saw Robin perform a rare move that only Dick Grayson could possibly know. After figuring out Robin was Dick Grayson it wasn't long before he figured out Batman was Bruce Wayne. Tim continued to follow the crime fighting careers of Batman and Robin as Dick Grayson became Nightwing and Jason Todd became the new Robin. After the death of Jason Todd, Tim decided he was going to be the next Robin. His first move was to contact Nightwing. Tim explained to Dick that Batman had become even darker than usual and it was because he needed a new Robin. Tim said he was going to be the new Robin. Dick took Tim to the Batcave, and with the help of Alfred, Batman agreed to allow Tim to wear the costume of Robin on a trial basis. Alfred, Batman, and Nightwing all took part in his training. Eventually Tim was accepted as Robin on a full time basis and was given a different costume that was different from the two previous Robin. Tim was able to distinguish himself from Jason Todd by being far more reserved in temperament and from Dick Grayson by being more cerebral a detective and less a great acrobat. Whereas Dick had been brought up from a very early age to be acrobatic, Tim had to work hard for it. He proved himself more than capable of holding his own alongside the Batman. However, Batman did have strict orders with Tim – whenever Tim came across a known killer (Joker, Two-Face), he was supposed to withdraw and summon help. Besides working with Batman, Robin has also worked with some other Batman "family" heroes including Azrael, Catwoman, Batgirl, Oracle, Nightwing, and the Huntress. He has also gone on solo adventures as well over the years. Tim was a founding member of a group of young heroes calling themselves Young Justice. This team would eventually disband and Tim would move on to join the Teen Titans. Tim and Bruce Wayne continued to grow closer even though they did not always work together. After Tim's parents die (his mother was murdered by The Obeah Man and his father is murdered a few years later by Captain Boomerang) Bruce adopts Tim as his own son although Tim does not accept it at first he eventually does. During a short time when Bruce Wayne goes missing Tim dons the cape and cowl of Batman to try and convince the underworld crime element of Gotham City that Batman is still around. Jason Todd, somehow back from the dead, has had several run-ins with Tim. Once when Jason becomes the Red Hood and then later after Bruce Wayne dies, Jason takes up the mantle of Batman and the two fight again. Jason asks Tim to become his Robin which Tim rejects. Afterward, Jason stabs Tim several times with a batarang. Eventually it is revealed that Dick Grayson is to become the new Batman and Damien Wayne (Bruce Wayne's son who he had with Talia Al Ghul) is the new Robin leaving Tim on the outside looking in. It is at this time that Drake becomes Red Robin and begins a worldwide adventure looking for Bruce Wayne who he believes is still alive. Later, while Bruce Wayne is dead (not actually dead but only lost in time) Tim finds out that he is the only heir to the Wayne fortune and becomes the CEO or Wayne Enterprises much to the chagrin of Damien as well as Damien's grandfather Ras Al Ghul. Tim Drake, as Red Robin, is the current leader of the Teen Titans as well as the new leader of the Outsiders, a covert black-ops group in the employ of Batman and part of the newly global group Batman, INC. that Tim is the founder of in an attempt to make the Batman moniker more than just one man but a group of costumed vigilantes taking up the mantle.

Powers and Abilities - Tim possesses no known superhuman powers though is suggested to have a far beyond normal mental concentration and mental focusing ability that allows him to think and calculate beyond most human beings. Through continuous intense training, Tim possesses peak level strength, stamina, speed, reflexes and agility for a teenager. However, Tim is not fully grown, so should he remain in peak condition as an adult, these levels will likely be even higher. Along with being a master acrobat, Tim has mastered multiple martial arts but his most preferred type of combat is Stick Fighting. Tim's naturally high intellect allows him to excel in computer science and more importantly as a skilled detective. Furthermore, Tim apparently has a firm grasp of assorted scientific techniques including biology, engineering and genetics, which he has been shown to use in his attempts at re-cloning Superboy. Batman states that Tim could potentially be smarter and better than himself. Batman has trained him in many disciplines, such as martial arts, forensic science, criminology, acrobatics, stealth, disguise, and escapology. Tim, much like Dick Grayson is also a master detective as well as a brilliant and experienced strategist with impressive leadership skills. Tim Drake possesses the normal human strength of a teenager who regularly engages in intensive physical exercise and can lift at least twice his own body weight and can therefore lift nearly 300 lbs. Tim adopted the new uniform of Red Robin. This costume seems to contain a mixture of both Tim's old Robin uniforms, as well as Batman's. The uniform is comprised black leggings and boots, a red tunic similar to that of Dick Grayson's old Robin tunic, thought lacking the 'R' emblem. He wears a utility belt, again similar to the one wore by Dick Grayson while as Robin (arguably more Batman in nature, as well, ditching the thin rod-canisters in favour of the metal, square "pouch"-style), only of a slightly larger size. He then has a chest harness, that is connected by the Red Robin symbol. Finally, he wears a black cowl and cape which also acts as a glider. Rather than use throwing stars or batarangs like before, Tim now uses Red Robin throwing disks. He does, however, continue to use his collapsible bow staff as his primary weapon.

Weaknesses and Limitations - Tim has the same weaknesses and limitations that any teenage human male in exceptional physical condition would have.
