The Man Hole Christmas Song Hall of Fame Inductee #9

What better way to celebrate the holidays in music and song than by listening to a 68 year old Jewish man sing a Christmas tune.  Make that song sound like a polka and well only one song comes to mind.  With a raucous party in the background, Bob Dylan celebrates the holiday as well as pokes fun at it.

That is a wig he's wearing in the video, right?

  1. This one was a surprise. Love it! I got the song as soon as it was released a couple years ago and the video is hilarious. However, here's another Christmas song that I've loved ever since I was a kid and has special meanings for me. The version I loved from back then was, believe it or don't, from Mitch Miller's Christmas album. I even remember being asked by my fourth grade teacher to bring the album in and the entire class learned to sing it for Christmas. I'd never heard any other version of the song until Bob Dylan covered it a couple years ago.

  2. Mitch Miller's is also great and same for me it was the only version I ever really knew of until this one came out. It's wonderful how songs can bring back so many memories and tender sentimental moments from days gone by.
