Eisbiber
Today we start with the Eisbiber, meaning ice beaver but I've only seen the beaver part as I've never noticed them around ice. When they woge they grow fur with a slight gold hue to it. Their noses grow whiskers and turn black. They do not have any type of increased attributes in their woged state. They are known for being cowards and will run away from danger and fights in most cases. They are careful to not offend anyone and are rather friendly however at times they can be quite nosy. To show appreciation they give hand made gifts with fruit pies being their usual gift of choice. They are naturally hard workers and usually have jobs where they build or fix things. Due to their fearful nature they have a great fear of Grimms and go out of their way to avoid them. When Nick's refrigerator broke he called in Bud, a repair man, who is an Eisbiber. Once Bud discovered Nick was a Grimm he took his tools and left Nick's house. Eventually the two would become friends and Bud would help Nick with a few cases but usually doing jobs that were not dangerous. A small excerpt from Grimm Diaries about the Eisbiber: "A beaver-like creature, harmless in both nature and appearance, with recognizably large buckteeth."
Löwen
Löwen are lion like Wesen and when woged they have some of the more drastic changes in their appearance. Males grow long hair when woged however some only grow bushy manes. Most females will have less facial hair. They are very strong in their Wesen forms nearly matching that of a Grimm. They also possess high stealth and can sneak up on an opponent with ease. They tend to be quite resilient and can recover from a pummeling from a Grimm in just a few minutes. They have large, sharp claws that they will use to slash a victim usually in their throats. They have also been shown to have a heightened sense of smell and have been known to be good trackers. Löwen are naturally aggressive, competitive, and violent, and they are also known for having a horrible temper. They are still capable of peacefully living amongst humans however and having normal lives. Most Löwen are shown to not fear Grimms and when faced with one while surprised they will attack nearly right away. They also do not seem to show fear to other Wesen very much either. Excerpt from Grimm Diaries concerning Löwen: "These lion creatures were captured and forced to fight one another in large arenas and coliseums in Ancient Roman times. The practice has changed in style and location, but remains otherwise the same today. Ancient Romans preferred Löwen to other Wesen for gladiator combat due to their incredible strength and ferocity. In Ancient Roman times, Roman soldiers would lasso and trap Löwen, enslaving them into a life of gladiator fights to the death. Some Löwen have chosen to perpetuate the fighting practice, enslaving Wesen and sending them into their own makeshift arenas."
Steinadler
Steinadler (translates to stone or golden eagle) are hawk like Wesen. When woged a Steinadler grows a beak over their nose and a few feathers will show up on their body. While their eyes will take on a pale yellow or green color most off their body does not change. Like some other Wesen they can localize what parts of them woge and can woge just their eyes to improve their vision. Their vision at it's height is five times that of a human. They are very fast Wesen and when they run they appear as just a blur. They are stronger than humans and have superhuman reflexes. Even so they are not as strong as a Grimm and do not pose much of a threat. They are known to have a good "poker face" and it is never easy to tell when they are lying or telling the truth. They have a sternness about them that makes them good leaders and many of them can be found in the military. They are know to be very intelligent and are usually heroic. Except from Grimm Diaries about Steinadlers: "The Steinadler have colored oils in their eyes that refract certain wavelengths of light. This intensifies certain colors at the expense of others. Adaptations to night vision include larger eyes. The distinctive brow ridge physically protects the eye from wind, dust, and debris and shields it from excessive glare. It is believed that the Steinadler can perceive magnetic fields. The Steinadler moves its head to detect the orientation of the magnetic field."
Hundjäger
The German translation (most of the mythology in the Grimm world comes from German words or terms) of Hundjäger is dog hunter. They are a hound like Wesen who are fast, clever, calculating, and cold making them perfect for bounty hunting and being employed as assassins. Hundjäger have one of the most dramatic woges of all Wesen as little of their human features remain after a full woge. Thick brown fur cover their heads and body, they grow long dog like ears, and razor sharp teeth that form in their long dog like snout. Differing from other Wesen there is not a great deal of difference between the male and female genders of the species. Hundjäger are excellent trackers and have been known to track their prey over great distances sometimes crossing over entire continents. They have a heightened sense of smell somewhere above a Fuchsbau and just under a Blutbad. In their woged state they are faster and stronger than a human but have no increased strength in their human form. In their woged state they are not as strong as the Blutbaden in fact Munroe once took one on while still in his human form and was able to defeat the Hundjäger easily. Hundjägers do fear Blutbaden and while Blutbads do not necessarily fear Hundjäger, they are very leery when in their presence. It is rumored that they eat their mothers from inside the womb. Hundjägers were the enforcers responsible for mass executions of renegade Wesen during the Second World War. Excerpt from Grimm Diaries: "I attempted to take down one of these beasts alone, but was quickly surrounded by four more. I fled to rethink my plan. The primary skill of this Wesen is to eviscerate his victims using his powerful jaws and sharp teeth. This snarling beast is known to work in packs and can be easily hired or persuaded to hunt down any target for the right price. He should never be trusted with information and usually resorts to violence over common sense."
