Before she could marry Munroe, Rosalee performed a sacred rite of acceptance with Munroe's mother played by scream queen Dee Wallace.
For most of the shows run along with the main story line there was also the monster of the week. The Halloween episode in the second season featured the Mexican legend La Llorona. One of the only times Nick would be facing off against something other than a Wesen as she was a vengeful ghost.
One of the many Wesen as featured in the pages of the Grimm Diaries.
Here we have Baron Samedi played by Reg E. Cathey (The Wire, Square One TV, and House of Cards) who is a puffer fish like Wesen who would spit a green glop onto people turning them into vicious zombies who then went on crime waves. The season two finale saw the Baron spraying Nick with the goop.
Maybe one of the more disturbing Wesen was this fly like wesen who would use his barbed tongue to take out his victims eye. Pretty gross.
When these Wesen show up everyone thinks they are aliens. Nick thinks they might be aliens as well but eventually finds out they are a very rare type of Wesen.
Here's an ogre ripped right out of the fairy take books and put right into the world of a Grimm. Looks legit!
Here we have a bunch of kids who were Wesen but not only that they had a sort of Wesen birth defect. They created chaos during the fourth seasons holiday episode titled The Grimm Who Stole Christmas. Grimm was adept at bringing humor into their show as well as horror.
