3/22 - Blond Ambition 4/9 - Wesenrein

 3/22 - Blond Ambition

The day of Rosalee and Munroe's wedding has finally arrived.  After rehearsal they all agree the sunglasses seem to be working.  After rehearsal they all have a nice moment during the rehearsal dinner.  Elsewhere, Adalind now looking and sounding like Juliette, goes to Renard's and while there she tries out her disguise which seems to work perfectly.  She kisses Renard who is surprised by this.  Adalind feels the potion wearing off and leaves.  She gets into a cab where the effects continue to wear off.  The cab takes her back to the storage unit.  Before the wedding Nick asks Trubel to help him move his trailer which she does.  Nick thinks too many people know where the trailer is so he moves it to a small piece of land he has bought in the middle of the forest.

Meanwhile Adalind is back at the storage unit inhaling more of the vapors and transforms back into Juliette.  Shortly after she leaves, Renard shows us, and using a crowbar breaks into her storage unit.  After seeing what is inside he knows she has recently made a potion.  Renard finds the ingredient list for the potion and knows what she has done.  Nick comes back home and finds Juliette (really Adalind in disguise) in the bedroom in a negligee.  This leads to them having sex.  Afterwards Adalind gets dressed and leaves still looking like Juliette, this makes Trubel curious so she follows Adalind.  She sees Juliette get into a cab but is surprised a few minutes later when she sees a blonde woman in the cab instead of Juliette.  Renard collects an antidote for the spell in a green bottle.  The real Juliette gets home after getting her hair done for the wedding.  Nick, already in his tux tells her he will be downstairs waiting for her.  He also comments on how fast she got her hair done.  Juliette notices the bed is messed up and her negligee on the floor.  They leave together and Nick asks her why she is so quiet since she wasn't so quiet a little while ago.  She asks about the negligee and Nick tells her it's there because that's where it fell.  The two argue for a few minutes before they realize Nick had sex with Adalind!

Renard shows up at Nick's house with the antidote.  Trubel, not knowing who he is, approaches him.  He explains who he is and she tells him Nick is on his way to the wedding.  Renard asks if Adalind has been around but Trubel says she doesn't know who Adalind is.  After Renard describes her she realizes Adalind is who she saw in the cab earlier.  Trubel tells him where the wedding is after Renard shows her the antidote.  He says Nick has to drink this to reverse the effects of the spell.  He tells Trubel to stay at the house but as he goes to leave he is shot three times in the chest by Weston Steward.  Trubel runs into the house to escape from Weston.  He follows and breaks down the door to her room.  He woges as Trubel picks up her machete.  At the last minute Steward realizes Trubel is a Grimm.  She cuts off his head, picks up the antidote, grabs Renard's keys, and calls 9-1-1 before leaving the house.

At the wedding Nick realizes he forgot his sunglasses.  Bart, Munroe's dad, offers Nick his pair, which are prescription.  The wedding ceremony goes fine but right after the couple have their first kiss Trubel show up.  She runs into the building and yells for Nick.  Everyone quickly figures out Trubel is a Grimm.  She tells Nick he has to drink the antidote but as she is grabbed by several Wesen the bottle falls and smashes on the floor.  Hank helps Nick get Trubel into a safe room in the building.  In all the panic Nick's sunglasses have fallen off.  Inside the room Nick asks how everyone knew Trubel was a Grimm and Munroe tells him she walked in while everyone was woged.  Nick says he didn't see anyone woge.  Rosalee agrees they all were.  Nick says he didn't see them.  Munroe, now woged, tells Nick something is wrong as his eyes still look normal.  Munroe tells Nick he isn't a Grimm anymore.  The spell has stripped him of all his powers.  Trubel tells Nick it is from Adalind's spell which is why he was supposed to use the antidote.  Elsewhere, Renard, coughing up blood, is in an ambulance on the way to the hospital while Adalind is on a plane heading to Europe to get her baby back.  The opening quote for the episode reads: "Turn back, turn back, thou pretty bride, within this house thou must not abide.  For here evil things do betide.", basically pertaining to Munroe and Rosalee's wedding.  It could also be warning Trubel of all the Wesen that await her at the wedding.  This was the season three finale.

4/9 - Wesenrein

A group of Wesen known as the Wesenrein are driven by one goal and that is keeping Wesen bloodlines pure.  This is a sort of racism shown to even touch the Wesen community.  Munroe and Rosalee have experienced several weeks of threats designed to terrorize them about their wedding.  The Wesenrein do not like the mingling of the two bloodlines and have taken Munroe hostage and is keeping him shackled in an abandoned building.  Meanwhile, a little back story; the last time we talked Nick had lost his powers.  Rosalee and the gang figured out how to get his powers back but it involved Juliette being turned into Adalind and then Nick having sex with her.  It worked and he got his powers back however that spell had some drastic side effects.  Juliette is now slowly becoming a Hexenbiest.  Uh-oh!  Also we have a Wu problem.  Many episodes ago some friends of Wu's were the victim of an Aswang and while investigating it he came face to face with a woged Aswang.  This drove Wu a little crazy and after struggling with what he saw he saw a drawing of the creature in one of Trubel's Grimm Diaries.  Wu checked into a mental institute and then left and went on a drinking binge.  Nick and Hank take him to Nick's trailer as they feel now is the time to tell him about Nick being a Grimm and all that comes with being a friend to one.

Munroe awakes in the back of a truck and one of the Wesenrein remarks that he is going to enjoy killing him.  Rosalee, who has just realized Munroe has been taken calls Nick, hysterical and tells him Munroe is missing.  Nick tells Hank and Wu they have to go.  Wu, armed with his new knowledge of Grimms and Wesen seems eager to help.  After talking to Rosalee at her house and questioning the police that were assigned to watching Munroe's house they decide to take Rosalee to Nick's place to be with Juliette.  She is still feeling the side effects of becoming a Hexenbiest as pictures fall off the wall and break.  She also has a headache and feels the ripples cross her face as parts of her begin to transform into a Hexenbiest.  Munroe is taken into an abandoned warehouse where a group of Wesenrein surround him and chant "Impuro!"  Back at the precinct Hank and Nick begin to figure out who some of the Wesenrein may be and begin to bring in suspects who may be tied to the hate group.  They tell Renard (who has since healed from his injuries from the end of season three) that they let Wu in on the world of the Grimms.  Renard asks if they told Wu about him being a Wesen and they agree that it is up to Renard to do that.

In the warehouse Munroe meets another man who is being held captive by the Wesenrein.  He says his name is Terry and gives Munroe his wedding ring before he is led away by his captors.  Munroe asks for water and he is handed a bottle but when he drinks from it he discovers it's vodka not water.  The guy watching him kicks him and yells "Blutbad do not lie down with Fuchsbau!".  Back at the precinct Nick, Hank, and Renard are questioning Shaw, a man who they know to be in the Wesenrein although the answers are not forthcoming.  They have no choice but to release him however they put a tail on Shaw who goes back to his house.  The Wesenrein arrive at his house and Shaw sneaks out to get in a car with them.  Inside the car is the Grand Master of the Wesenrein.  Shaw tells them he said nothing to the cops.  The Grand Master says he believes that he hasn't but he also knows he will.  With that the Wesenrein kill Shaw.  They toss the body out of the car and drive away.  Back at Nick's house Juliette is having nightmares about killing Rosalee.  Wu finds Shaw's dead body and calls Nick.  Nick, Hank, and Wu investigate by searching Shaw's house.  Wu finds a picture of Shaw with a man Wu identifies as the police officer who was supposed to be watching Monroe's house.

At the warehouse, Munroe is able to escape and runs into the forest.  There he finds Terry's badly burned body impaled on a spike.  While there the Wesenrein find him and recapture him.  Back at the precinct Wu finds out that officer Acker was calling someone who is in the state penitentiary.  They call the warden to find out who he has been calling.  Nick and Hank question the man Acker was calling and he tells them he was being made to be the middle man for the Grand Master and his name is Charles Riken.  Munroe is taken to an area in the forest where Monroe's "Tribunal" is to be held.  The Wesenrein, led by Riken are decked out in their robes and masks.  They begin a Wesenrein chant as the episode ends on a cliffhanger.  The opening quote, which featured a picture of Nick and Juliette reads: "He has them brought before the court, and a judgement was handed down.", of course pertaining to Munroe's imminent tribunal where he will be judged by the Wesenrein.
