Lebensauger
A Lebensauger is a leech like Wesen basically meaning "life sucker". When not woged Lebensauger tend to have a very attractive appearance. In contrast, woged Lebensaugers gain brown skin that is lumpy and mottled in appearance, while their nose disappears almost entirely, save for the nostrils, and lose all of their hair. Lebensaugers have large, round, fang-filled, gaping maws in the place of their human mouths. Their mouths naturally hang open but move like a human mouth when they talk. Lebensaugers use their mouths to suck blood from their victims, usually going for the face or neck. It is unknown if blood is a necessary part of their diet, but considering they are leech-like, that is most likely the case. They are of only average strength about the same as a human in their woged state. They are generally considered to be amongst the most repulsive of Wesen. Lebensaugers are exceptionally good at keeping their true nature a secret and rarely woge in front of other Wesen. Excerpt from Grimm Diaries concerning Lebensaugers: "Lebensaugers are known for coercing their victims through fear. The Fagin character described in Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist is largely based on their preternatural urge for manipulation. The Lebensauger attacks his victims with his leech-like mouth puncturing their skin and draining the blood from their bodies. I recognized the distinct markings on the neck of the first woman. These marks were of the same nature as the last string of murders in Temple Bar."
Bauerschwein
Meaning "farmer pig" a Bauerschwein is a pig like Wesen. They are the natural enemies of the Blutbad and are often victimized by the stronger Wesen. The feud is very one-sided, as Blutbaden kill Bauerschwein simply for entertainment. When woged they take on a pig like appearance with a snout, pointed ears and a wrinkled face. When woged they have an increased sense of smell but do not seem to have any other increased abilities. They are diligent and hard working and seem to get along with humans just fine. Bauerschwein have been known to enjoy mud baths to rejuvenate their minds and bodies. For the most part Grimms and Bauerschwein have never been enemies and usually got along fine although there is always the exception to every rule. Excerpt from Grimm Diaries concerning Bauerschwein: "Pig creature, specifically looks like a wild boar with giant tusks jutting up from lower jaw. They take mud baths because it calms them. They are century-old enemies of the Blutbaden."
Mauvais Dentes
Basically meaning "bad teeth" the Mauvais Dentes is a sabre tooth tiger like Wesen. When woged Mauvais Dentes grow grey fur over their head and arms with white stripes. Sometimes the colors are reversed. They grow enormous teeth capable of leaving a one inch diameter puncture wound. When they woge they must open their mouths as wide as possible to avoid impaling themselves with their own fangs. Mauvais Dentes have been measured to have the strength of approximately three men and nearly as strong as a Grimm. Highly agile, capable of jumping to great heights, very fast, and incredibly stealthy. When they attack they usually use their claws to slash a victim preferably in the chest or neck area. They have been known to eat humans but weather this is by choice or necessity as a part of their diet is not explained. They are vicious killing machines but are on the endangered Wesen list as not many are known to exist in the world today. Excerpt from Grimm Diaries about Mauvais Dentes: "A terrifying saber-toothed tiger-like Wesen that is smart, swift and deadly as hell. There aren't many left in the world, but based on the Grimm ancestry, they are vicious killing machines, with the ability to wipe out an entire village single-handedly. They have a reputation for toying with their victims before killing them, much like a cat does with its prey."
Aswang
Simple translation of Aswang is "monster" which is a good description as it is a ghoul type creature that is indigenous to the Philippine Islands. When woged the Aswang is bald with pale grey skin and a nose that looks similar to a bat. Their vertebra enlarge to the point it leaves a noticeable ridge protruding from their skin. They also grow needle like fangs and claws. Aswang are notable for their black, forked tongue that is able to stretch several times the length of their bodies. The tongue is designed to pierce flesh and can move solids in both directions through its long tube. Their tongues serve three purposes, each related to the grisly habit they are infamous for. After chewing Valerian root, Aswangs use their tongues to pierce the navel of a pregnant woman and inject the chemical properties into the woman, tranquilizing her. From there the Aswang will use their tongues to suck the infant out of the womb, but not before sucking up a large amount of amniotic fluid. Under normal circumstances, there would be a high risk of the amniotic sack breaking, which would cause labor or a miscarriage. Since Aswangs do not have this problem, it would mean their tongues are fine and precise as surgical tools. Their long claws and prehensile limbs make it possible for them to adhere over practically any surface, even horizontal ones like the ceiling. They are not very strong Wesen and can easily be overpowered by an average human. Traditionally, the eldest son of a female Aswang must give up his first conceived child for his mother to consume in order to extend her lifespan; allegedly, without doing this act, she will die within a month. The tradition dates back hundreds of years, but some Aswang believe it is too barbaric for modern times. Whether the female Aswang will actually die if she fails to do so is unclear, but many Aswang believe it to be true, and female Aswang under such circumstances often become very desperate and are willing to do so even if their eldest sons are against it. Aswang frequently make ticking sounds with their tongues, hence their alternate name, Tik-tiks. They have a reputation for being terrifying, and even other Wesen are afraid of them. A not so short excerpt from Grimm Diaries concerning the Aswang: "I arrived in the island of Philippines at Manila, May of 1904, after a long arduous voyage in the middle of the night. I heard screams and charged into an adjoining room occupied by a young pregnant local. Seeing something escape from her windows I gave chase and followed the figure out into the street when I saw it turn into an alley that I knew to be a dead end. I snuck (sic) down the putrid alley, followed the fetid smell of death and blood. But it had been able to elude me and escaped. I returned to find the pregnant woman being tended to by a midwife who told me and my peon that somehow the fetus had been extracted straight from the womb. After the midwife was able to quell the hemorrhaging, the young woman gained consciousness. She told me it was an Aswang that had caused the tragedy. She had been sold as a bride, to be impregnated so that her firstborn may be consumed as means for a prolonged, healthy life. Aswangs use their long tongues to inject chewed up Valerian root to sedate their victims as they attack. These attacks are often incorrectly diagnosed as miscarriages, and for the process to work, the fetus must be a blood relative to the Aswang. After speaking with other locals about the infanticide, it seems to be that Filipinos aren't scared of much, the talk of ghosts and spirits do not shake them, however it is only the Aswang that will make them tremble with fear." Well Goddamn!
