Love Camp 7 (1969)

Today we go back to the world of Naziploitaion films with another Video Nasty.  Two American Women Army Corp officers enter a Nazi prison camp in order to collect information and find a Jewish scientist.  All the female prisoners, like the previous film I watched about a Nazi prison camp, are treated as sex slaves.  Lots of torture and rape in this one as well.  Love Camp 7 is directed by Lee Frost (The Thing With Two Heads and The Black Gestapo) starring Bob Cresse who also co-wrote the screenplay as the sadistic and insane Commandant who runs the prison.  Maria Lease (All the Sins of Sodom and Sinthia: the Devi's Doll) and Kathy Williams (Sisters in Leather) play the two Lieutenants infiltrating the camp.

They discover that the scientist is being held in solitary confinement so Lt. Harman (Lease) gets herself sent there as well.  This all leads to a huge and bloody confrontation at the end of the film.  It is extremely bloody and I can say I was pretty satisfied with the ending.  And although nobody received a testicle transplant it was still very entertaining for what it was.  This is of course the first all female inmate exploitation film which would lead to films such as Women in Cages and The Big Bird Cage both featuring Pam Grier.  It was also the first in a series of Naziploitation films.

Unlike SS Experiment Love Camp that I reviewed earlier in the month where the women were exposed to experiments to create a greater Aryan race, the women in Love Camp 7 were only there for sex.  The German soldiers on the front line would occasionally be allowed a break from war and they would go to these Nazi love camps where they would have all of their sexual needs taken care of.  Films like these while loaded with nudity and sex are highly disturbing but do have their cult following.  This one just happens to also be a bit historic.  It's actually better than SS Experiment Love Camp and I will give this three Nazi uniforms out of five.
